Dear Brian and the Team
Jo and I would like to thank you for building our dream house. We apologies for taking so long to write our testimonial, but now that we have settled in after our wedding we are able to concentrate on the other important matters. We’d also like to thank you for allowing us to borrow your marquee for the big day, which, went off without a hitch.
After visiting many other builders in town, we new after our first meeting with Brian Hopwood, that this was the company to build with. Brian and his teams attitude and professional manner stood out from the rest and we left his office with our decision made.
Before and during the construction of our dream home, Brian personally attend the site every Wednesday to check on the progress and to consult with us. I don’t know of any other company where the owner personally checks quality control and shows so much interest.
Prior to meeting with Hopwood Homes, my parents and I were looking to have homes built by another builder in town. We weren’t at that stage comfortable with signing up with them. However, my parents were, and unfortunately appointed the other builder with whom they still have unresolved issues with after two years.
The quality of workmanship from all the trades that attended our site was excellent and everything was completed on time and as per your fixed price as quoted. My parent’s home was approx six months past contract date, over the price quoted and shoddy workmanship. They were “fobbed off” by this major builder and the matter is now before the courts to rectify the many faults that the builder will not address. This stress has affected them greatly and they regret not building with Hopwood Homes especially after seeing our home built before their eyes.
We have never been so happy with our decision to build with you and we shall continue to recommend you to anyone looking for a quality home without the headaches.

We would very much like to thank you and your team for building our lovely new home. We appreciated all your help which started before we had even purchased the land, during the whole building process and even after our house had been built. We found you and your whole team to be helpful, professional and approachable throughout the build. We could always get hold of someone when we needed to with a swift response to any concerns we had.
As this was our first build we were very apprehensive both in terms of the cost and the quality of workmanship, however you "held our hands" and didn't let us down. We came in on budget (there were no hidden costs) and with the weekly meetings on site we were reassured that everything was under control and any matters of concern had usually been dealt with before we even arrived! We also found Nat's design guidance invaluable and greatly appreciated her flexibility in meeting us with a toddler in tow.
We discovered that building a house is actually an exciting project (not a stressful one) and we would have no hesitation in recommending or using Brian and his Team again, in fact we wouldn't use anyone else! Brian Hopwood Homes gave us a quality house at an agreed price and with the personal touch that is seldom found these days.

good morning brian.
i was cleaning out my old emails when i came across one from yourself ,it asked if we would like to send a testimonial of our experience building with your company.well it is nearly two years ago we moved to paradise ,and what has made it complete is the wonderfull home your company built for us .we have had just a few people visit us over this time about twenty so far . and we have had to set some rules for any one coming up,they have to leave at some time. all of our visitors can not believe that we were able to build from sydney and not have any dramas ,all the comments have been about the quality of our home ,and the procedure that your company supplied to achieve such agreat result , all were very impressed. geraldine and i would like to say a big thank you to your self,natalie and the team for our home. also merry christmas to you and the team at hopwood homes . reguards geraldine and ivan.

Following the disastrous fire that resulted in the loss of our home last year,
we chose to have Brian Hopwood re-build our home.
The reason we chose Brian was because of his great reputation
and the high quality of his work.
Right from the start, Brian and his team took the time to ensure we
got the design correct and the budget right.
He and his team were wonderful throughout the whole process.
The staff in his office are all very professional and any problems
that did arise were quickly dealt with in a courtesy and
efficient manner.
Brian employs a wonderful team of quality tradesmen,
who worked on our home during times of extreme heat and also through
heavy rain periods. The tradesmen had to endure extra travelling
time due to bridges being washed away and roads being closed.
Brian conducted weekly visits of the building site and was very
approachable and friendly.
We are very happy in our new home and thank Brian and his team on
a job well done.

I am writing to thank you for the quality workmanship and integrity that you have shown with the completion of our new home.
Julie and I moved to Coffs Harbour in 2001 from Sydney. Whilst living in Sydney we had a new house built by a reputable project building company. As a result, we were not sure if we wanted to go through the drama of building a new home again.
When we first bought our land at Moonee Beach in 1997, Brian Hopwood Homes was a well-established builder and the community could not speak highly enough of you or the quality of workmanship that you perform.
In 2003, Julie and I decided to build a new home and take the plunge once again. Julie and I undertook local research into builders and their reputations and once again, your name was held in a high stead.
From first meeting you through to the hand over of our lovely new home, what is said about you is true. Julie and I are thrilled with the quality of workmanship, the communication you had with us through the building process and the prompt resolution of any issues that may have arisen during this process. You also thought outside the square and put forward some terrific ideas, which we greatly appreciated.
Julie and I wish you and all of your staff, the best for your future building projects, both large and small and we can not recommend you highly enough to anyone considering building a new home.

Just a short note to let you know how impressed we have been with your ‘after-sales/construction’ service.
It is now eighteen months since you completed our home. Not only have we been completely impressed with your professionalism in advising us on the fine detailing during the construction of our home, and as you know we made a number of major and minor structural changes, but most importantly your team have been brilliant in handling and administering our requests since completion.
I think is it too easy for builders to “pass the buck” when there are things that need to be adjusted, repaired, etc. No home will be perfect first up. Robyn and I can honestly say that your team have not only stated that they will take care of our requests but they do so in a manner that gives us confidence that firstly it will be done, secondly in a manner acknowledging that your company take responsibility even though it may have been one of your supplier’s or contractor’s fault and finally we always get a follow up call to ensure that we are completely satisfied.
It is not like us to single out any one individual, however we believe that you must know how much we have appreciated that support from Janis. You are indeed very fortunate to have such a professional working with you. Her attitude towards life is first class which shines through during working hours.
On a final note we do appreciate the selected invitations to your clients “open house” evenings. Not only does it allow us the opportunity to view the designs and interior decorations which gives us further ideas but it also reinforces the message that you do really care for your existing clients.
It is this caring approach that commits us to continue to use your services. Hence we look forward to you taking on our next project of design and constructions of our courtyard, open landing and additional vehicle carport.
