Builder's Commments: We were looking to downsize and build a home that would serve well into the future as we headed towards retirement. We wanted a level block of a reasonable size so we could have a decent backyard and gardens. The block needed to be close to town, close to a shop and close to water. One of the main requests was for the block to be north/south facing to ensure maximium use of the winter sun.
We wanted single storey with three bedrooms and a study. Main bedroom was to have an ensuite and the second bathroom to be three way with a corner bath/spa. We needed the garage to have extra length to enable a workbench and storage space to be included.
The house was to be open plan with a higher ceiling, a separate media room and a design that allowed for a lot of natural light. The construction was to be brick and tile to ensure low maintenance and it had to have a quality finish.
Final Product: This 4 bedroom home is practical & modern. The spacious open plan living area features a well appointed kitchen with the 9 foot ceilings creating a lot of light & space.
The kitchen is a stand out in this home with use of contemporary features in the design such as a walk in pantry, overhead cabinets with glass inserts and island bench splash back.
Overall this house boasts comfort & style.
